As with most people after a period away, we are,…NOT THE SAME, which is my tagline, meaning I have evolved along with my music.
Originally from Kansas, however, I have lived in Columbus, Atlanta, and Dallas, but Wichita is where I established my musical voice. Being that I had no hip-hop or soul radio stations to listen to as a kid, my influences range from pop, rock, to country and everything in between. I believe eclectic sound appeals to most genres or tastes. Using a catchy hook or beat, mixed with a melodic rhythm, is how I deliver my playful rhymes. Performing for The Unity Tour, Fo’ Dem Ladeez Tour, Lickalotta Fest, Atlanta Pride, and PeaceOut festivals has allowed me to include all people and with my music being featured on Seasons 4 & 5 of Lovers & Friends, that has permitted to extend my base. I truly enjoy every moment I can connect with people through my music and for the future, I plan to keep creating dynamic Hip Hop.
Blending Hip Hop and vocals into my uniquely, eclectic style, I have something for everybody. I believe it is obvious when listening to my remake of the old school jam by Cheryl Lynn, “Encore” (DaLyrical’s Reply). I also released my version of “Once In A Lifetime” by the Talking Heads with a quirky, fun video to offset my serious life message.
